Offer COD only in specific countries

Updated · ACOD (E-TRADE PARTNER)

Add a country condition in ACOD → Limit Cash on Delivery: either “show COD only for these countries” (allowlist) or “hide COD for these countries” (blocklist). One rule covers cases like COD only in Pakistan, or COD across Bosnia, Croatia, Serbia and Montenegro but nowhere else.

  1. Open ACOD → Limit Cash on Delivery and add a country condition.
  2. Pick allowlist or blocklist mode and list the countries.
  3. Save, then verify with testing mode using addresses inside and outside the list.

Also check shipping zones

COD (like any payment method) only appears where a shipping rate exists. If a country you want isn't covered by a zone with your linked COD rate, add it there too — the ACOD rule controls visibility, the zone controls existence.

Country rules combine with state/province, city, and postal-code conditions when you need finer control — see Limit COD by state, city, or postal code.

Frequently asked questions

Customers in a neighboring country still see COD — why?

Either the country is missing from your blocklist (or present in a zone your allowlist rule doesn't cover), or a second app's payment customization is also active. Testing mode plus a checkout with that country's address pinpoints it quickly.
